Back in 1997, I used to teach at Medicine Hat College in Alberta, Canada in the Department of Visual Communications. Back then, I had a lot of exposure to LGBTQ Cowboy/Rodeo culture. It’s been more then a decade, and I am in need of a fix. I am off to Calgary/Strathmore to show drawings in the Visual Arts section of the cultural event. The event takes place from the 26th to the 28th of June. I am looking forward to renewed appreciation for the complexity of queer culture.
