I wanted to introduce you to Marc Buscha of Berlin. He and his business partner run a massage parlour and art gallery called “Just Men”. I met Marc through Facebook and will be showing in his space during Folsom Fair Europe in Sept of 2010. I’ve always liked the idea of showing in alternative spaces. This is an excellent concept. From my studies in early modernism I will never forget Matisse’s notion “that art is like a comfortable armchair”. In this space both your physical body and visual sensibilities are massaged at the same time. I couldn’t think of a better experience. Please read about their venture at the following link.
